長崎ながさき県けんは九州きゅうしゅうの北西ほくせい部ぶに位置いちし、多おおくの島々しまじまからなる県けんです。鎖国さこくの時代じだいも海外かいがいに開ひらかれた「出島でじま」があり、独特どくとくの異国いこく情緒じょうちょあふれる文化ぶんかが育はぐくまれました。世界せかいで二に番目ばんめに原子げんし爆弾ばくだんが投下とうかされた地ちでもあります。ちゃんぽんやカステラなどのグルメや、世界せかい遺産いさんも豊富ほうふな県けんです。

Nagasaki, in northwestern Kyushu, is made up of many islands. Through "Dejima," a port open to the outside world even during the era of national seclusion, it nurtured a distinctive, exotic culture. It was also the second city in the world to suffer an atomic bombing. Nagasaki is rich in cuisine, from champon to castella cake, and in World Heritage sites.

長崎ながさきは、江戸えど時代じだいの鎖国さこく下かでも西洋せいように開ひらかれていた数少かずすくない港町みなとまちです。人工じんこう島とう「出島でじま」を通つうじてオランダなどと交流こうりゅうし、その歴史れきしから今いまも中華ちゅうか街がいや洋館ようかん、教会きょうかいなど、異国いこく情緒じょうちょあふれる独特どくとくの文化ぶんかが残のこっています。
Nagasaki was one of the few port towns open to the West even under Edo-period seclusion. Through the artificial island of Dejima it traded with the Dutch and others, and that history lives on in a distinctive, exotic culture of Chinatown, Western mansions, and churches.

長崎ながさきには二ふたつの世界せかい遺産いさんがあります。かつて炭鉱たんこうで栄さかえ、今いまは無人むじんの廃墟はいきょとなった島しま「軍艦ぐんかん島じま（端島はしま）」と、潜伏せんぷくキリシタンの歴史れきしを伝つたえる教会きょうかい群ぐんです。独特どくとくの景観けいかんと深ふかい歴史れきしが、多おおくの人ひとを引ひきつけています。
Nagasaki has two World Heritage listings: "Gunkanjima" (Hashima), an island that once thrived on coal mining and now lies in ruins, and a group of churches conveying the history of the hidden Christians. Their striking scenery and deep history draw many visitors.

長崎ながさき名物めいぶつの「ちゃんぽん」は、麺めんと豊富ほうふな具ぐ材ざいを炒いためて煮込にこんだ、中国ちゅうごくの影響えいきょうを受うけた料理りょうりです。また、ポルトガルから伝つたわったとされる甘あまい「カステラ」も、長崎ながさきを代表だいひょうする土産物みやげものとして広ひろく親したしまれています。
Nagasaki's signature "champon" is a Chinese-influenced dish of noodles simmered with an abundance of stir-fried toppings. Sweet "castella" sponge cake, said to have arrived from Portugal, is another beloved specialty and favorite souvenir.

長崎ながさき市しは、広島ひろしまに続つづいて世界せかいで二に番目ばんめに原子げんし爆弾ばくだんが投下とうかされた都市としです。平和へいわ公園こうえんには犠牲ぎせい者しゃを悼いたむ「平和へいわ祈念きねん像ぞう」が立たち、二度にどと戦争せんそうを繰り返くりかえさないよう、平和へいわの尊とうとさを世界せかいに訴うったえ続つづけています。
Nagasaki was the second city in the world, after Hiroshima, to suffer an atomic bombing. In Peace Park stands the Peace Statue mourning the victims, and the city continues to appeal to the world for the preciousness of peace so that war is never repeated.
