青森あおもり県けんは本州ほんしゅうの最北端さいほくたんに位置いちする県けんです。りんごの生産せいさん量りょうが日本一にほんいちで、全国ぜんこくの多おおくを占しめています。夏なつに行おこなわれる「ねぶた祭まつり」は、大おおきな灯とう籠ろうの山車だしが街まちを練り歩ねりあるく迫力はくりょくある祭まつりとして有名ゆうめいです。世界せかい遺産いさんの白神しらかみ山地さんちなど、豊ゆたかな自然しぜんにも恵めぐまれています。

Aomori sits at the northern tip of Honshu. It is Japan's top apple producer, accounting for a large share of the national crop. Its summer Nebuta Festival, with huge illuminated floats paraded through the streets, is famous, and the prefecture is blessed with rich nature such as the World Heritage Shirakami-Sanchi.

青森あおもり市しの「ねぶた祭まつり」は、東北とうほくを代表だいひょうする夏なつ祭まつりです。武者むしゃなどをかたどった巨大きょだいな灯とう籠ろうの山車だしが街まちを練り歩ねりあるき、「ラッセラー」の掛け声かけごえとともに多おおくの見物けんぶつ客きゃくを魅了みりょうします。
Aomori City's Nebuta Festival is one of Tohoku's great summer festivals. Enormous illuminated floats shaped like warriors are paraded through the streets to chants of "rassera," thrilling huge crowds of spectators.

Straddling Aomori and Akita, Shirakami-Sanchi holds one of the world's largest virgin beech forests. Its precious, almost untouched nature earned it inscription as a Natural World Heritage site.
