宮崎みやざき県けんは九州きゅうしゅうの南東なんとう部ぶ、太平洋たいへいように面めんした県けんです。一いち年ねんを通とおして温暖おんだんな気候きこうに恵めぐまれ、プロスポーツのキャンプ地ちとしても人気にんきです。完熟かんじゅくマンゴーや地じ鶏どりの炭火すみび焼やき、チキン南蛮なんばんなどのグルメが豊富ほうふです。日本にほん神話しんわゆかりの地ちとされる高千穂たかちほ峡きょうの美うつくしい自然しぜんも有名ゆうめいです。

Miyazaki lies in southeastern Kyushu, facing the Pacific. Blessed with a mild climate year-round, it is popular as a training-camp base for professional sports. It abounds in food—fully ripened mango, charcoal-grilled local chicken, and chicken nanban. Miyazaki is also famous for the beautiful nature of Takachiho Gorge, a place linked to Japanese mythology.

温暖おんだんな宮崎みやざき県けんは、とろけるように甘あまい高級こうきゅうブランドの完熟かんじゅくマンゴー「太陽たいようのタマゴ」で有名ゆうめいです。また、炭火すみびで香こうばしく焼き上やきあげた歯はごたえのある地じ鶏どりや、甘酢あまずとタルタルソースで味あじわうチキン南蛮なんばんも名物めいぶつです。
Warm Miyazaki is famous for its premium ripe mango "Taiyo no Tamago," meltingly sweet. It is also known for chewy local chicken grilled fragrantly over charcoal, and for chicken nanban, served with sweet vinegar and tartar sauce.

高千穂たかちほ峡きょうは、切り立きりたった断崖だんがいに囲かこまれた渓谷けいこくを清きよらかな水みずが流ながれる美うつくしい景勝けいしょう地ちです。日本にほん神話しんわにゆかりの深ふかい神秘しんぴ的てきな土地とちとして知しられ、貸かしボートに乗のって渓谷けいこくや滝たきの景色けしきを間近まぢかに眺ながめることができます。
Takachiho Gorge is a beautiful scenic spot where clear water flows through a ravine hemmed by sheer cliffs. Known as a mystical place deeply tied to Japanese mythology, it lets visitors take a rowboat to view the gorge and its waterfall up close.

宮崎みやざき県けんは、天照大神あまてらすおおみかみなど日本にほんの神かみ々にまつわる神話しんわが数多かずおおく残のこる「神話しんわのふるさと」です。夜通よどおし神楽かぐらを舞まい奉納ほうのうする「高千穂たかちほの夜よる神楽かぐら」など、古ふるくからの神事しんじや伝統でんとう行事ぎょうじが今いまも大切たいせつに受け継うけつがれています。
Miyazaki is a "land of myths" where many legends of Japan's gods, such as Amaterasu, survive. Ancient rites and traditions—like the all-night "Takachiho no Yokagura" sacred dances offered to the gods—are still carefully passed down today.

With its mild climate and long hours of sunshine, Miyazaki is comfortable even in winter and popular as a spring training base where pro baseball and soccer teams gather. Many players and fans visit, greatly enlivening the region during that season.
