栃木とちぎ県けんは関東かんとう地方ちほうの北部ほくぶに位置いちする内陸ないりく県けんです。世界せかい遺産いさん「日光にっこうの社寺しゃじ」があり、豪華ごうかな装飾そうしょくで知しられる日光にっこう東照宮とうしょうぐうは徳川とくがわ家康いえやすを祀まつっています。宇都宮うつのみやの餃子ぎょうざや、生産せいさん量りょう日本一にほんいちのいちごも有名ゆうめいで、華厳けごんの滝たきなど美うつくしい自然しぜんにも恵めぐまれた県けんです。

Tochigi is an inland prefecture in northern Kanto. It holds the World Heritage "Shrines and Temples of Nikko," where the lavishly decorated Nikko Toshogu enshrines Tokugawa Ieyasu. It is also famous for Utsunomiya gyoza and for being Japan's top strawberry producer, and is blessed with beautiful nature such as Kegon Falls.

歴史History
日光にっこう東照宮とうしょうぐうは、江戸えど幕府ばくふを開ひらいた徳川とくがわ家康いえやすを祀まつる神社じんじゃです。「見みざる・言いわざる・聞きかざる」の三猿さんえんや眠ねむり猫ねこなど精巧せいこうな彫刻ちょうこくで知しられ、世界せかい遺産いさんに登録とうろくされています。
Nikko Toshogu is the shrine enshrining Tokugawa Ieyasu, founder of the Edo shogunate. Famous for exquisite carvings such as the three wise monkeys and the sleeping cat, it is inscribed as a World Heritage site.

宇都宮うつのみや市しは「餃子ぎょうざの街まち」として全国ぜんこく的てきに有名ゆうめいです。市内しないには数多かずおおくの餃子ぎょうざ店てんが並ならび、一いち世帯せたいあたりの餃子ぎょうざへの支出ししゅつ額がくが全国ぜんこくトップクラスになるほど市民しみんに親したしまれています。
The city of Utsunomiya is famous nationwide as the "gyoza town." Countless dumpling shops line the streets, and residents love them so much that the city ranks near the top nationally for household spending on gyoza.

栃木とちぎ県けんはいちごの生産せいさん量りょうが日本一にほんいちで、半はん世紀せいき以上いじょうその座ざを守まもり続つづけています。「とちおとめ」や「スカイベリー」などの品種ひんしゅが有名ゆうめいで、甘あまくて形かたちの良よいいちごが全国ぜんこくに出荷しゅっかされます。
Tochigi is Japan's top strawberry producer and has held that position for over half a century. Varieties such as "Tochiotome" and "Skyberry" are well known, and its sweet, well-shaped berries ship nationwide.
華厳けごんの滝たきと中禅寺湖ちゅうぜんじこ

日光にっこうの華厳けごんの滝たきは、高たかさ約やく百ひゃくメートルから水みずが一気いっきに流れ落ながれおちる名めい瀑です。近ちかくの中禅寺湖ちゅうぜんじことともに美うつくしい景観けいかんをつくり、特とくに紅葉こうようの季節きせつには多おおくの観光かんこう客きゃくが訪おとずれます。
Kegon Falls in Nikko plunges about 100 meters in a single dramatic drop. Together with nearby Lake Chuzenji it forms beautiful scenery, drawing many visitors especially in the autumn-foliage season.
