鳥取砂丘Tottori Sand Dunes

鳥取とっとり県けんは中国ちゅうごく地方ちほうの日本海にほんかい側がわにある県けんで、人口じんこうが日本にほんで最もっとも少すくない県けんです。日本にほん最大さいだい級きゅうの砂丘さきゅう「鳥取砂丘とっとりさきゅう」が有名ゆうめいで、雄大ゆうだいな景色けしきが広ひろがります。二に十じゅう世紀せいき梨なしや松葉まつばがにが特産とくさんで、「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎きたろう」の作者さくしゃ・水木みずきしげるゆかりの地ちとしても知しられています。

Tottori, on the Sea of Japan side of the Chugoku region, is Japan's least populous prefecture. It is famous for the Tottori Sand Dunes, among Japan's largest, with their sweeping scenery. Nijisseiki pears and snow crab are specialties, and it is also known as the home of Shigeru Mizuki, creator of the manga "GeGeGe no Kitaro."

The Tottori Sand Dunes, facing the Sea of Japan, are among Japan's largest. Beautiful wind ripples and majestic hills of sand formed over ages spread out here, and activities like camel rides and paragliding are popular.

鳥取とっとり県けんは、冬ふゆに旬しゅんを迎むかえる松葉まつばがにの水揚みずあげが盛さかんで、身みの詰つまった甘あまいカニが名物めいぶつです。また、みずみずしくさわやかな甘あまさの「二に十じゅう世紀せいき梨なし」の産地さんちとしても全国ぜんこく的てきに知しられています。
Tottori has thriving winter landings of snow crab, its prized specialty full of sweet, dense meat. It is also known nationwide for growing the "Nijisseiki" pear, celebrated for its juicy, refreshing sweetness.

境港さかいみなと市しは、「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎きたろう」で知しられる漫画まんが家か・水木みずきしげるの出身しゅっしん地ちです。妖怪ようかいのブロンズ像ぞうが数多かずおおく並ならぶ「水木みずきしげるロード」には多おおくのファンが訪おとずれ、妖怪ようかいの町まちとして人気にんきを集あつめています。
The city of Sakaiminato is the birthplace of Shigeru Mizuki, creator of "GeGeGe no Kitaro." The "Mizuki Shigeru Road," lined with many bronze statues of yokai spirits, draws fans from far and wide as a town of monsters.

大山だいせんは中国ちゅうごく地方ちほうで最もっとも高たかい山やまで、その美うつくしい姿すがたから「伯耆ほうき富士ふじ」とも呼よばれています。豊ゆたかな自然しぜんに恵めぐまれ、夏なつは登山とざんやキャンプ、冬ふゆはスキーと、四季しきを通つうじてアウトドアを楽たのしむことができます。
Mt. Daisen is the highest peak in the Chugoku region, and its graceful form has earned it the name "Hoki Fuji." Blessed with rich nature, it offers year-round outdoor activities—hiking and camping in summer, skiing in winter.
