銀山温泉Ginzan Onsen

山形やまがた県けんは東北とうほく地方ちほうの日本海にほんかい側がわに位置いちする県けんです。さくらんぼの生産せいさん量りょうが日本一にほんいちで、果物くだもの王国おうこくとして知しられています。米沢よねざわ牛うしなどの高級こうきゅう和牛わぎゅうや、レトロな街まち並なみの銀山ぎんざん温泉おんせんも人気にんきです。秋あきには家族かぞくや地域ちいきで鍋なべを囲かこむ「芋煮いもに会かい」を楽たのしむ習慣しゅうかんがあります。

Yamagata sits on the Sea of Japan side of Tohoku. It is Japan's top cherry producer and is known as a "kingdom of fruit." Premium wagyu such as Yonezawa beef and the retro streetscape of Ginzan Onsen are also popular. In autumn, families and communities gather to enjoy "imoni-kai" hot-pot cookouts.

山形やまがた県けんはさくらんぼの生産せいさん量りょうが日本一にほんいちで、全国ぜんこくの多おおくを占しめています。中なかでも「佐藤さとう錦にしき」は甘あまみが強つよく高級こうきゅう品ひんとして人気にんきで、初夏しょかには多おおくの人ひとが果物くだもの狩かりに訪おとずれます。
Yamagata is Japan's leading cherry producer, growing much of the national crop. The "Sato Nishiki" variety in particular is prized as a sweet, premium fruit, and early summer brings many visitors for cherry picking.

銀山ぎんざん温泉おんせんは、大正たいしょう時代じだいの面影おもかげを残のこす木造もくぞうの旅館りょかんが川かわの両側りょうがわに並ならぶ温泉おんせん街がいです。夜よるにガス灯とうがともる幻想げんそう的てきな風景ふうけいが人気にんきで、多おおくの観光かんこう客きゃくが訪おとずれる名所めいしょとなっています。
Ginzan Onsen is a hot-spring town where wooden inns evoking the Taisho era line both banks of a river. Its dreamlike scenery, lit by gas lamps at night, is popular and draws many visitors.

出羽三山でわさんざんは月山がっさん・羽黒山はぐろさん・湯殿山ゆどのさんからなる山岳さんがく信仰しんこうの聖地せいちです。古ふるくから修験しゅげん道どうの修行しゅぎょうの場ばとされ、羽黒山はぐろさんの国宝こくほう・五重塔ごじゅうのとうなど貴重きちょうな文化財ぶんかざいも残のこされています。
The Dewa Sanzan are three sacred mountains—Gassan, Haguro, and Yudono—central to Japan's mountain worship. Long a training ground for Shugendo ascetics, they preserve treasures such as the national-treasure five-story pagoda on Mt. Haguro.

山形やまがたでは秋あきになると河原かわらに集あつまり、里芋さといもや肉にくを大おおきな鍋なべで煮込にこむ「芋煮いもに」を囲かこむ「芋煮いもに会かい」が行おこなわれます。地域ちいきぐるみで楽たのしむ、秋あきの風物詩ふうぶつしとなっている食しょく文化ぶんかです。
In autumn, people in Yamagata gather on riverbanks for "imoni-kai," cooking taro and meat in large pots to share. This food custom, enjoyed by whole communities, has become a beloved sight of the season.
